Nampa’s planning commission is recommending the approval of houses, businesses and senior apartments on 76 acres near the Treasure Valley Marketplace. After a public hearing March 13, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend the Nampa City Council approve the development application. That would involve issuing a conditional use permit, annexing the land into city limits and amending the city’s future land use map to mark the land for community mixed use. The property is next to the Stiehl Falls subdivision north of the St. Luke’s Nampa hospital and Costco Wholesale.
