Grayling could see a big development coming their way after a significant Brownfield Grant was given to the city. The grant is for the site of the former Sawmill Tavern and Avalanche Newspaper office along Michigan avenue in downtown Grayling. With environmental issues from a former dry cleaner and paint shop, these two buildings have sat vacant in Grayling’s downtown for years. That will soon come to a change.
