A proposal to replace La Habra’s Westridge Golf Club with more than 400 homes is finally moving forward, after the original developer was bought by a company that was in turn acquired by Lennar Corp. Housing plans were originally pitched by Standard Pacific, which merged with builder CalAtlantic. In February, Lennar completed a merger with CalAtlantic and is now moving ahead with its proposal to turn the golf course land into a development called Rancho La Habra.
