From Stuffy To Spacious, HM Remodeling Transforms Outdated Kitchen

After cooking and entertaining for years in the small, dark kitchen of her house in Norwalk, Anna Buckner had finally had enough. “Our house has a small kitchen for a larger house, and it was completely dark thanks to the cabinets and lights,” she said. “It was not very cheerful. There were windows there but you didn’t even know it.” Not knowing who to hire, she came across HM Remodeling on Angie’s List, where it was listed as the site’s highest rated contractor. After speaking with HM Remodeling’s owner Skip Wyatt, Buckner and her husband invited Wyatt to take a look at their space, not knowing what was in store. “When Skip came to the house, he showed up with an army of people,” said Buckner. “He brought two designers, managers and everyone involved, all here to the house.” After working with designers to produce a 3D rendering of the kitchen, the Buckers were able to choose everything from the wood for their cabinets to the under cabinet LED lighting.
