Tax credits obtained for LongCrest senior housing planned at Long Home site

Presbyterian Senior Living has received the state tax credits it sought to help finance a senior housing project on the west side of Lancaster. The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency has awarded $1.2 million in credits to underwrite the LongCrest apartments, which Presbyterian Senior Living plans to build along West Walnut Street between Race and North West End avenues. Competition for the tax credits is fierce; Presbyterian Senior Living was one of 39 recipients statewide.
