TRI POINTE HOMES ACQUIRES LOTS TO BUILD 154 HOMES IN TWO DENVER METRO LOCATIONS

DENVER, Colo. (November 28, 2018) TRI Pointe Homes has announced the acquisition of 154 lots to build new homes in two for-sale communities in Douglas County, a highly desirable location in the Denver Market. The land transactions fit TRI Pointe Homes’ strategy of building quality innovative homes in locations with convenient access to major transportation and employment corridors.

In late October, TRI Pointe Homes acquired 54 lots within Sterling Ranch, a master-planned community located at the foot of the Front Range and within 15 to 30 minutes from Lockheed Martin’s campus and other major south metro Denver employment centers. The division will purchase another 26 lots in late November. The masterplan features nine distinct villages surrounding a town center and retail core that will total more than 12,000 residences and two million square feet of commercial space at buildout. TRI Pointe Homes’ offering is in a new neighborhood, Ascent Village, and will include new alleyloaded homes ranging from 1,400 to 2,200 square feet with five different, customizable floor plans and fenced side yards. Part of the highly-rated Douglas County School System, the community offers easy access to RTD’s expanding light rail, two state parks (Chatfield and Roxborough) and three regional parks as well as 30 miles of trails. Priced in the mid-$400,000s and targeting first-time and first-time move-up buyers, Ascent Village pre-sales are slated to begin in Spring 2020.

 

Last month, TRI Pointe Homes also acquired 100 lots in Trails at Crowfoot, in the Town of Parker, a 30-minute drive from Denver Tech Center, Inverness Business Park and Meridian Business Park. The new 60-foot wide homes in TRI Pointe’s offering will include six different customizable floorplans, ranging in size from approximately 2,300 to 3,400 square feet and will include two ranch plans and one master-on- main plan. Additional features in the community will include a 17-acre town park, three neighborhood parks, a pool and cabana and tennis, basketball and pickle-ball courts. Known for its cozy small-town feel, attractive outdoor lifestyle and strong education system (Douglas County Schools), Parker has recently expanded its employment, medical and recreational resources and amenities. Anticipated to cater to second- and third-time move-up and move-down buyers, and priced from the mid $500,000s to the low $600,000s, Trails at Crowfoot sales are anticipated to begin in Spring 2020.
