According to Gladiator GarageworksOpens a New Window. , the garage division of Whirlpool Corporation (WHR) that is sold out of home improvement stores like Home Depot (HD) and Lowe’s (LOW), the percentage of women as primary purchase influencers has seen an almost 5% boost from May 2014 to April 2016. Overall, women make up 40% of Gladiator sales. And the trend isn’t just for Gladiator–a spokesperson for Home Depot tells FOXBusiness.com that approximately half of its customers are women.
