The LEED Silver certification is given to a property that meets the criteria of a ‘green building’—it saves energy, water, resources, and makes less waste. The Miami building’s green features include Nest® thermostats, solar shades, LED lighting, energy-efficient appliances, charging stations for electric car, recycling options, living green walls, low VOC paints, and reclaimed wood. Midtown 29 is a 20-story building that includes 309 residencies ranging from studios to three-bedroom units.
